VALORIE N. PARKER- Businesswoman- Author-Speaker

Valorie N. Parker invites you to travel along her incredible journey from pain to power. After surviving a 19 year marriage of domestic abuse, she found herself homeless, but not hopeless. Armed with a foundation of faith, she and her four children began to rebuild, restructure and reposition their lives for success.

Valorie has authored three books. The first, "From the Soul of a Woman, Love Shouldn't Hurt" tells her story, giving an overview of her beginnings, her marriage and its transitions, the breakup and the restructuring of her life.  Motivational speaker Les Brown wrote the forward for this book.

The second book, "Unveiling Secrets from the Heart: Forgiving Your Past to Free Your Future" is simply what it is.  Valorie believes that you have to forgive where you've been in order to free yourself to go where you have to go to complete your destiny.  This forward was written by actor Malik Yoba, and includes chapters from her friends: Les Brown, who wrote about "The Battlefield of the Mind;" Tawana and Toby Williams, who wrote about "The Power of Love;" Dwight and Sadie Pledger wrote about "The Power of Forgiveness," and finally Dr. Sheron Patterson wrote about "The Power of Change".

The third book is "Restored Vessels: Young Adults Overcoming Adversities."  This book was written and inspired by five young adults.  The E-Book is available with four stories, while the book has five stories along with the foreword by Seth Joyner, Former NFL Player.

Valorie has raised four children of her own and has had to impart into each of their lives, individually, not collectively, because each had their own personalities.

She credits much of her children's successes to her having the patience to LISTEN to their cries, and the courage to not only listen, but act on their needs.  In this book she speaks from the heart as she has in the first two books, but this time she has incorporated chapters from young adults who share from their own perspectives how they were able to turn their traumatic experiences into triumphs, and beginning with the story of her eldest son, David A. Parker and ending with her youngest daughter Stephanie N. Parker.  Other contributing authors in this power-packed book are Omekongo Dibingo, who is a Speaker, Author and Poet, Star Bobatoon, who is an Attorney Trainer and Speaker, and Jacquelyn "Tiffany" Gates-Michael, a Wife and Young Mother.

Valorie is president and CEO of Arise by VNP and Associates, a speakers bureau and public relations company, and The Soul of a Woman Foundation, a non-profit organization that serves the community.  Her story will encourage and inspire you to hold fast to your dreams and mount up with the wings of an eagle and fly!!!!

It is no surprise that she has earned the respect and admiration of many in the corporate and Christian arena. Her impeccable reputation as a businesswoman and mentor is growing to new heights with every round of applause and standing ovation as she speaks with power, passion and conviction. Words never mean more than when spoken by someone who has lived them. Not only has she lived them, but Valorie has committed her life to sharing the trials and heartaches that she experienced and used as a catapult to achieving her goals and embracing her destiny.
